I've seen that they put heavy-duty nets under the big durian trees because, yeah, the fruit has seriously injured people before (some of them are bigger than basketballs and obviously much heavier.) You are right about durian being the most IDM fruit, though. |

haha, what is it about Durians that smell so bad? We smuggled some of a cut up one into the hotel and ate it when I was in Thailand. It really didn't smell bad at all, so I'm presuming it must be the peel or something. It made me start feeling really sick after a while though. urgghhh. |

I think it's one of those things that not everyone can smell, like asparagus pee. I thought it smelled / tasted like a lychee with a slight hint of well aged urinal puck. For others it is the smell of satan's bowels. This is maybe the second or third time I have referenced asparagus pee on a messageboard. That can't be good. |
