LIMES!

passion fruit is more funk music
IDM is supposed to have funk anyway, it's just people like
Autechre and B12 that confused the issue (no offence
intended, they are good just not funky)
actually IDM is not supposed to exist at all, EDM or
Braindance alright!

Yep, that's what the BIYC dnb superstar is named after. A
fruit so big it kills people when it falls on them.

them.

It only smells that big. Isn't it really about the size of a
cantaloupe? I've only ever had it already cut up, as given
to me by a giggling filipina housekeeper who wanted to see
how I'd react.

I've seen that they put heavy-duty nets under the big durian
trees because, yeah, the fruit has seriously injured people
before (some of them are bigger than basketballs and
obviously much heavier.)

You are right about durian being the most IDM fruit, though.

Hmmm, I guess they don't have to be that huge to kill
someone after all if they're heavy and solid. When I read
ceri's post I was imagining he meant a durian the size of a
kid's wading pool.

I want one of those signs. And a mansion surrounded by large
Durian trees.

"Smithers, unleash the fruit."

haha, what is it about Durians that smell so bad? We
smuggled some of a cut up one into the hotel and ate it when
I was in Thailand. It really didn't smell bad at all, so I'm
presuming it must be the peel or something. It made me start
feeling really sick after a while though. urgghhh.

I think it's one of those things that not everyone can
smell, like asparagus pee. I thought it smelled / tasted
like a lychee with a slight hint of well aged urinal puck.
For others it is the smell of satan's bowels.

This is maybe the second or third time I have referenced
asparagus pee on a messageboard. That can't be good.

oooh you're right! That's exactly how I thought it smelled
and tasted! It was slightly too sweet though, from what I
remembered, like it'd gone off or something. I was expecting
much worse though, like a rotting corpse maybe

"For this reason the durian is sometimes called the most
dangerous fruit in the world, along with its name in
Vietnamese, sầu riêng, meaning "private
sorrow".
"

LOL, the Vietnamese certainly have a way with words.
