Just came out on DVD. Anyone else watched it? It's one of
the most entertaining documentaries I've ever seen.

i have no idea how a film about this could actually be
entertaining.

myself.

Those guys would piss their pants if they saw the fastest
doom2 demos.

Doom2 is way too new-school for these guys. They don't even
consider it a real game unless you can see the everything
about the level on a single screen.

you're welcome!

It's a shame this wasn't nominated for best documentary at
the oscars.

There's another documentary on a similar subject from last
year--Chasing Ghosts but it hasn't been released for the
home market as of yet :\

great film, epic and down-to-earth at the same time.

Another film that grabbed me in a similar way is called
Hands on a Hard Body, which is about a completely unrelated topic,
but the same human tension and drama is there...

it's amazing the kind of lives people live

it really makes me wonder about the guy(s) behind the movie

with 'some kind of monster' the maker is clearly a fan of
metallica (metallica i don't find ridiculous btw, i can
related to all that band stuff shit). but the guy making
this: i can't believe he didn't have to lol at times. maybe
the subjects were just too off this world to notice that
though
