i have to agree with the guitar comment. This album seems
over produced...was this the one that he's been working on
for a long time? It shows...

When i listened to this album i was waiting at points for a
voice over to start:

"Test drive a new <[insert car name here]> today at your
local dealership"...and all of that fine print bullshit they
slap on car adverts

I like the guy, some of his IDM stuff is up there with the
best. The new album is very good - more acoustic. I like
emotional music but love technology too, so I find it a
perfect blend of the two. At least he's willing to explore.

I find it hard to see how you can object to his new album,
some great melodies on there at the very least.
Overproduced? Definitely Not. Well produced, yes. If I had
one gripe it's that it's a bit messy, too many tracks that
perhaps don't fit together very seamlessly - almost
overambitious, but nothing wrong with that - especially in
an electronic scene where everyone sounds like each other
because they all use the same gear and techniques.

Electronic music has the best music because of the scope of
the equipment you have at your disposal, but it also has the
worst music because 95% are just copying each other and it's
all about technicality with zero ability.

it is nicely produced but this gives it a kind of stock
sample sound, i would like an ep of this type of music but
71 some minutes is too much to sit through, i became
disillusioned after a period of thinking it had nice
melodies..

i could also swear the melody on 'someone' is exactly the
same as ive heard elsewhere..

as mentioned elsewhere the songs arent properly developed
either "hello, im benn"
