You can do much better than that even using Snares'
material: "Dad" and one other song from "Winter in the Belly
of a Snake".

Stapleton+Tibet - The Sadness of Things
Matt Elliott - The Mess We Made
a wide selection of Third Eye Foundation tracks
some Murcof out of Remembranza (probably the one with the
crappy fan-made video on YouTube - Rostro?)
Resent Burial's efforts

Crazy Hungarian Guy - Ultrasad Hungarian Song about Sundays
Fogg - Ostatnia niedziela

You can probably find things much more sad than the above in
the jazz territory. Maybe some ballad played by Bill Evans a
couple of weeks before his death (find something on The Last
Waltz)

Ophecks: Silvestrov - Requiem for Larissa

Dear Indeksical,
please don't diminish something you simply cannot
comprehend. I think that it's a very happy song, which
encourages young people to fight for their proud YMCA
values!

"No no limits, we'll reach for the sky!
No valley to deep, no maintain to high
No no limits, won't give up the fight
We do what we want and we do it with pride"

ON the BALL!

Valentin Silvestrov- Requiem for Larissa

and

Current 93- Soft Black Stars. Just because QRDL mentioned
Tibet. Which reminds me maybe I should change my avatar back
now.
