No, he did a River Phoenix.

Both killed by drug mixing shortly after playing in gay
themed movies.

R.I.P. btw.

Good actor. It took his death for me to realise he was
Australian. He died in one of the Olsen twins' apartment.

I heard he was in consideration for the Jeff Buckley bio
pic. I guess that is not happening now.

I have to say I'm kind of bummed about this. He was one of
the better younger actors out there. You often hear stories
about method actors never fully returning from the brink of
their role. I wonder if that was the case with him.

He seemed like a chill dude. So many people with tons of
potential end up crapping out at age 27-28.

at 27 or 28 years of age. It's just weird.

mmm, I can taste that soil now. The moment you die you can
no longer percieve or think about anything so it'll be all
like FAST FORWARD. The instant you're dead 10 zillion
years will pass. If it passes that quick and the universe
turns out to be some sort of loop that endlessly replays
then you pretty much instantly get born again and do
all that exact same pointless stuff.

Reminds me of Brandon Lee a little bit. It is really sad.
I don't imagine it should delay the release too much, unless
they decide to delay post-production to give the crew a
period to mourn.

I wonder how this will impact plans for the third movie,
which was also planned to have the joker, although as a
secondary enemy to 2 face.

They could probably get a replacement actor for the 3rd
movie on the condition that he sync up his performance with
Ledger's as much as possible. It is one thing for Maggie
Gyllenhaal to want to ignore Katie Holmes performance in
Begins, but I think this would be a way different
circumstance.
