i'm looking for some resources to build programs on my synth.
like say i want to build a prog that sounds like a trumpet, i'd like a guide that tells you how to build it (ie start with a sine wave and adj the resonance to 5, etc...).

You just need to understand quantum physics it's easy once you get it or just look into synth patch programming tutorials like this one:

Computer Music and Future Music magazines do synth tutorials quite often. I know Future Music have got a feature running currently about how to use synthesizers.

I will always recommend Synth Secrets from Sound On Sound magazine.
If it's not in here, it doesn't exist! Truly excellent resource.
