I loved those tracks Marlowe! Anything had a really pretty
tune to it and beat as well. Old schoolhouse II however I
liked better. The intro was right on and got me hooked
although you should've gone back to the bells to close
things up at the end and put them with the ending keyboards.
That would have been good. The beat was totally Andrea
Parker. Was she an influence for that song? Sounds
something like she'd do.

anything is really nice and kick back. It's one of those
songs that has a fairly simple prototype structure, then
each measure is played in a different key, like depeche mode
often does. The first 1/2 reminds me of music from perfect
dark... That was a nice change in the middle too, becoming a
completely different song.

old schoolhouse 1- you aren't doing typical stuff, it's
original and mellow stuff. You're into melody more than a
lot of others, so you might like www.mp3.com/imaginary, it's
the best melodies I've ever heard probably... I learned a
lot from listening to it (try penguin love, our world is
orange, merry cannibals, red spider... those are some of my
favorites)

old schoolhouse 2- disturbing out of pitch bells,
interesting ambientish sounds... quite a playful but dark
melody comes in, maybe one that would play for an evil boss
in a silly game like a giant crab from banjo kazooie. I like
the whole song. The notes at about 3:14 totally remind me of
doom2 style notes... I like totally weird stuff usually,
this song is getting closer. But it still has potential to
be sillier/weirder/etc. whether you're going for that or
not, heh heh.
