so i was playing with my new nord and noticed some noise in the background then i try to solve it by clicking mindlessly away in my m-audio firewire 410 settings and i click sync source 'external' and this terrible noise comes out of my speakers, and the tweeters produce a spark and, when i stop the noise, i smell smoke to. now the tweeters ones are broken :( i think i clicked this wrong button before, but when i was moving my nord around i apparantly put the volume of my amp to the max by pulling the cables over the volume knob, and that was the reason for the initial noise in the background too.. |
