can anybody recommend me a program for editing video and surround sound?
actually what i want to do - i have 5 channels of audio and a video file and i want to somehow put everything together and burn it on dvd with all ac3 codecs and so on.
i'm just testing sony vegas right now which seems quite easy and i guess i will be able to make most of the things i want.
but a quite disturbing thing in vegas (which is quite important to me) is that when i place something in surround it still places the selected track in the subwoofer. but there are tracks which i absolutely not want to have in the subwoofer...
so anything ?

The sub gets the sub frequencies, and doesn't really have its own channel, so that should work out fine anyway.
