I got 2 Midisport 2x2's and i have no idea how to route each to each other inorder to sync ableton two both computers with the external midi sync. Please if anyone knows how i would greatlyy appreciate it. im using mac and pc Also i really dont know much about midi yet, and i was wondering, i'm using an edirol Pcr 300 for synth modeling and a BCR 2000 for impulse, and drums and volume parameters, now should i just have those connected via USB? or should i use MIDI wih them. here's the diagram that i am trying to accomplish. BCR2000 from (USB?) to Mac (for impulse drums and other parameters) Midisport2x2 synced to Midisport 2x2 PCR300 from (USB?) to PC (for synth in Ableton 6 cause CPU in live7 is bad for hardware synths) thanks |

link both computers via, say midi port A on the midisports, the one going out is the one who will be master the bcr and the pcr can each go into the remaining port in each computers this should do it, you just have to assign in ableton the midi ports and it's all good ! |
