sometimes itunes doesnt recognize a certain album, so it
appears as unknown artist and tracks are named track1,
track2...

how can I make my itunes recognize the album so that I dont
have to write all the info?

use another ripper - eac if you're on a pc, max on a mac.
those use different databases

It's all in the ID3 tags. Whoever ripped it was doing it
wrong.
