I put my akai s2000 on kijiji and someone messaged me asking to trade for a Roland mks7. It looks shitty, the akai rocks, I`m just getting rid of all my things.
I have THROWN OUT my tx81z and fb01. With that in mind, is this just some shit wank bargain synth that I can find for 20 bucks or is it some hidden gem that will make my music shine?

Having no first hand experience of either of these machines i must say that what i read about the mks7 seems pretty interesting! it's in the juno family which can sound very nice.
Cool multitimbral analog synth + (tr707 drmachine) in racksize... for $100 i could be very interested.
On the other hand i dont' know much about the s2000, or how much one is worth. Tell me something about it if you like.
this article has a section about this Roland module. It says it's the worlds first multitimbral synth.
