What is it? IE7? Firefox? Opera?

Featurewise, they seem pretty identical.

I've only ever used IE and FF, have to go with FF tho,
quicker, less bugs, nicer UI.

feature wise firefox kicks both ie7 and opera's asses with
all its extensions.

in terms of speed ive heard good things about opera, ive
really only used ff in years so i dont remember what other
browsers are compared to it.

Opera is by far the fastest. it also starts up faster than
FX. though FX view more pages correctly (in my experience).

Opera is much faster on my old computer (celoron 533 192 MB
RAM). If you turn off CSS then it's even faster(this will
mess up the layout though).

Firefox is pretty slow, but I love its features so it's
cool. Not the most stable piece of shit in the world,
though.

safari is apparently the fastest at rendering pages.
opera is meant to be most efficient.

however, they both suck.

firefox TEAM!

Trying Opera now. It does seem faster than IE7 and FF. I'll
give it a trial period before I make up my mind.

I gotta admit, running lynx on a core2duo kicks anything
else's butt by a factor of 300. shame it can't do pictures.

I do actually use it sometimes on my old linux box which
doesn't have enough CPU/RAM to run a GUI. That and mc and
vim... yeah, nerd power!

I don't know how much faster FF is than IE, but I do find it
kinda buggy. For zample, on Windows about every month or so
it will freeze, and after trying to start it up again it
will say "FF is already running, close the existing process
first". Before I noticed the "processes" tab under the task
manager, I'd have to completely log off and on again in
order to use FF again. The same happens in Linux, but more
like a few times a day. I originally used FF for the tabs
and addons, and now that IE has tabs, I use it just for the
addons, which are incredibly awesome- Adblock plus is one of
the best things to happen to the internet! Referring to what
Big said, I believe Maxthon (a power-user's skin for IE) is
used most for its customizability. And I never had the
patience to get past all the quirky things I don't
understand about Opera, and its been proven not the fastest.
