I saw this movie called 'prey' at filmhill.whatever. Having not paid to see it I feel justified in complaining about how terrible it was (althrough technically viewing the ads was paying in one medium of exchange). Well its is pretty much scenes from the discovery channel badly spliced with scenes of people doing tricks with lions borrowed from siegfried & roy. They meet this helpful black dude in one part, and dumb white bitch #1 was all like 'hey slave, give me some water. Now give me something to hold the water in. Now give me another, *sigh* hurry up'. Soon after, while they were walking, the black guy held her back because there was a lion nearby- she immediately interpreted this potentially life saving gesture as him trying to rape her and cried out 'get your hands off me' or something. Soon the black guy leaves because they needed to film more white people. Well it turns out they need someone to be eaten by a lion because this is supposed to be a scary movie you know. So who shows up- none other than blacky black just brief enough for him to die. There's even more to the plot though such as a relationship forming between bitch#1 and 2. The trying ordeal of surving lion attacks brings them together you see. And it comes complete with the classic cliche ending where... one of the major white bitches died? Wtf? This can't be, she's white! And a bitch! But probably taken directly out of some film making textbook it just so happens she's alive after all, just needlessly hiding in the bushes a bit to give the audience time to mourn her before the emotional roller coaster ride back up to relief she's still alive. At least for the few people that didn't see it coming a mile away. It took me awhile to realize it wasn't a parody of something. During one scene a lion made a sort of scowl which I interpreted as being his review of the acting and plot. In one scene they find the car keys so are no longer stuck but they are so cluelessly idiotic that they crash 4 minutes later. |
