anyone know any techniques for doing some filter house thru ableton??
google's not very good for 'filter house techniques'

By the name of it I would suggest running some shit through a filter, put some lfo on the cutoff. Add 4/4 kick drums and up the shuffle knob.

Not specific to ableton, but tempo-matched filter sweeps over 4 bars, low pass filter with a reasonable (but not massive) amount of resonance being opened up from bottom of the cutoff range to fully open is a good way of getting that "getting nearer to the party" sort of sound almost as if you are approaching the source of the sound.

also, lots of bitcrushers and distortion for that new french filter house sound.
