i have not heard anything about this on the board, but i
can only assume there are a couple people who have been
having the same problem as i - that is, recurrent kernel
panics when running azureus (or other torrent programs)
under os x when using wireless.

well, i finally found a solution and a bit of internet
looking. you just have to disable tcp/ipv6. go to system
prefs> network> advanced> tcp/ip> and select 'off' under
'configure ipv6'. then to double check, go into azureus,
expand preferences> connection> advanced network settings
and make sure the box for 'prefer ipv6 addresses...' is
unchecked.

ive been running everything for about 12 hours now with no
kp in sight! hooray!

transmission also causes the kp.

why shouldnt i torrent over wireless? i get consistent 300 k
down/50 up and... thats it. what other reasons do i need?
