Uh it´s the same thing, just a different idea of what is
means and what is end. The dominant ideology in
libertarianism is what I described before. it's called
liberalism almost everywhere. (neoliberalism rings a bell?
yeah, same idea applied to economic policy)

And now you confuse some libertarian with anarcho-capitalist
libertarians.

Libertarians think any involvement of government causes less
freedom. but they believe things like private property is
essential to freedom so the government should only be there
to protect it.

anyway ron paul should be fun.

these threads really bring out the armchair pundits. why is
it that politics makes everyone sound like know it all cunt?

I've been following Dr. Paul for about 6 months now, mostly
on youtube because the big networks refuse him much airtime
(it's getting slightly better as time goes on). Most people
knock Dr. Paul because he's a libertarian at heart. When
you take that face value you always think
fanatical/stereotypical. To further explain that point,
what do you normally think of when you think of a tried and
true conservative? I myself as well as others I know always
think of some redneck hillbilly with shotguns on the back of
his pickup truck. Same goes for liberals, what do you think
of first when that is brought up?

The biggest complaints I gather are from his economical
policies. I want everyone who disagrees with his views on
domestic programs to listen to this.

All three parts of this radio show are excellent, just from
the standpoint of hearing his stances as well as debating
(and in all honesty owning) against a liberal on domestic
policy.

Don't people in America notice how the very same people who
have been complaining about the welfare state's "bad" state
are the very same people who have been dismantling it?

It's very easy to make self-fulfilling prophecies when you
are in a position that allows you to fulfil the prophecy.

The worst thing is that the same thing is happening here,
and more and more people are falling for it.

"The welfare system doesn't need that much money. The
medical staff is already overpaid. They don't need that
equipment."

*a week passes*

"The welfare system isn't working properly! Privatise!
Replace it with something that will work! The market is
governed by an invisible hand! Praise be the lo... erh..
FREEDOM TO CHOOSE!"

i liked him until he totally backpedaled on his comments
about needing a new 9/11 investigation. the guys a pussy
couldnt take the heat and couldnt stand up for his past
statements. He also could never face or embrace the fact
that almost his entire grass roots support was coming from
the 9/11 truth movement and he totally abandoned them, fuck
him
