damnit, at the bar the other night some guy sang
Nickelback's "this is how you remind me" in karaoke, and
this thread reminded me of it. fuck.

haha, was visiting the city I went to high-school in, met
some friends at a bar that one of the girlfriends chose. Not
a bad bar, if you don't count nickelback on the karaoke
machine.

there's a video on youtube of nickelback getting booed off
stage and being stoned by the crowd at a concert somewhere
in europe... and let me tell you, it's the best thing
nickelback have ever done.

mars volta stop playing because someone is throwing water
bottles full of pee at them.

with Monoid.

i saw the lead singers house on Cribs and its just uplifting
to think that you can make millions of dollars putting out
the same song over and over again.

Proof

More Proof

when i was in high school my friends and i decided to go to
an eve6 concert so we could see v.a.s.t. who was the second
opener--bear in mind i was like 14 or 15, he sucks and i
will not dispute that. but anyway, bored kids i
guess...this band named American Hi Fi were the first
openers. my friends decided to spit at them during their
first song, it was really funny, they were so lame. they
were basically blink182/sum41 bandwagoners...the lead singer
was the drummer for that godawful band veruca salt, remember
them? yeah, nobody does (xlt member Veruca Salt? lol).
anyway...they stopped playing during their first song! what
babies! i thought if you're an opening band you're supposed
to have some nerve and not get shut down by a bunch of
spitting high school kids during your first fucking
song...they yelled at security to throw us out, which they
did, so we had to go find something else to do that night,
like sniff glue. thanks american hi fi

I always assumed they were the tragically failed experiment
of an attempted cross-breeding between a Fender Squire
guitar and a box of doorknobs.
