Well, it's more or less my 2-year old girl's guitar now :] I
could only really strum it; my instrument is piano rather
than guitar (though I have an acoustic guitar also).

I remember someone having posted this a while back, but
there's nothing wrong with posting it again. The memory of
this ukulele cover of "while my guitar gently weeps"
randomly popped into my head a few days back, and then
quickly disappeared into the 'mist' again. So, thanks for
posting this to re-remind me.

Well, I'm just glad that people got enjoyment out of this
amazing vid. I watched his other one where he plays flamenco
style ukulele---muchos awesomeness

It's such an awesome performance. Would it be blasphemous to
say that I think I might actually like this ukulele version
more than the actual song?

if it is, than i would join your ranks as a blasphemer.

I think I prefer this version, too--his has amazing tone
whilst playing so fast. It's the only Youtube video I have
in my favourites!

yeah, he plays fast very well, and I love how he's able to
play the vocal 'line' and the chords simultaneously. A very
talented man, that one.

I downloaded one of his albums hoping for more of the
same--alas, it was all very polished backing drums etc.
Sounded like middle-of-the-road semi-rock which was a great
shame :\

The fact that he learned to play "...weeps" so well would
seem to indicate that, at some level, he has good taste in
music. Unfortunately, I also downloaded a few of his
original songs and they seemed like cheesy radio-jazz played
on an uku. Definitely a disappointment for me, as well.
