i rewatched the Social Network and now i'm a fan of
this track

i've listened to the original a lot too, back in the day,
because i liked the video. but this remix is much better

i guess: post your favorite techno club anthem

i watched the movie with headphones and i think the
soundtrack is really interesting. at some point they're in
their dorm, at day time, and you hear techno incredibly
softly. i had to check if it actually was in the movie.
David Fincher and i'm pretty sure Trent Reznor are really
particular, so it has this has to mean something. it
does add something, anyway

Fincher movies are a blast to watch. i enjoyed rewatching
Fight Club the other day, too (i listened to that
soundtrack, by the Dust Brothers, a million times, back in
the day) (the movie is a condemnation of toxic masculinity,
btw, i won't deny i didn't get that when i first watched it.
but it's also nuanced in that regard, i think, Edward
Norton's character benefits from getting in touch with his
masculinity, but also recognizes the toxic aspects of it)

I liked it until the anthem synth comes in midway. I can
understand why it’s appealing to some.
