My first music purchase was some old skool d'n'b called moondance '93.
I trew it away, but now I wan't it again for no reason, just to re-live the memories.
First cd was in '94.It was an extremely cheesy happy hardcore cd called bonkers.
I still have the whole set of Bonkers. Does anyone else remember this cheese?

'Mexican Radio' 12" by Wall of Voodoo. I don't remember the year, but it was when it came out and I was born in feb 74..so anyway, I was young. My dad bought 'Land Downunder' by Men At Work.
The WoV 12" was painted orange with green and purple stripes. That's why I wanted it. Excellent song too :)

Errr not sure I can remember that far back.
Maybe it was Silver Bullet as well... (TUNE!) or it might have been Soul II Soul...
The first single I owned was System Addict by 5 Star which I got as a birthday present off someone... (thanks a lot!)

Heh, some of you bought your first CDs in the 90s. I had over 300 CDs by the end of 93. Now my collection is just scary, but it's fun to see people's faces when they see it for the first time.
