you have said differently on many many confield-threads
ophecks :-p

Always talking about how confield was your first
autechre-album, and probably the wrong one to start with...
you hated it to death but forced yourself to listen to it
anyway, and only then started liking it ;-)

so there

but i do ;)

though i have to admit that i've only heard it maybe 4 or 5
times, can't say anything about the growing effect. but i
sort of feel the same amount of effort behind. and 'in quod'
is very dark, methinks. but it comes to opinions in this one

Well, it might have been the wrong one to start, but I never
''hated'' it! I remember being really impressed with Pen
Expers, Cfern and Eidetic Casein, I guess I MAY have
''hated'' the rest of it... it's been a while. I don't even
remember my first time hearing Sgt. Pepper, so you can't
really trust my memory on these things. ;-)

i think winter in the belly is surely great,
but it's not really dark. it is not the horror like
confield.

about confield, its magnificent though, i do like gantz graf

I do love listening to it and discovering new aspects in all

Lol, yeah i guess you could have, but you didn't ;-)

I searched for a bit, and found no less than four
examples of you saying you hated confield at first.
Sometimes even litterally using the word "hate"...

You might have forgotten your first impressions, but george
is here to refresh your memory :-p

I took the liberty of highlighting the most interesting
bits...

first example...
I STARTED at Confield, and worked my way back... that was an
adventure. I hated everything I heard, thought
they were overrated
... but now I'm convinced they're the
greatest thing since sliced bread. I probably should have
started out at Incunabla or something, Confield ALMOST
turned me off them
... it was a dangerous path

other example...
I was the same way... I made the mistake of listening
to CONFIELD first... eep. I kind of forced myself to
listen to them
, and I grew to love them. Now nothing
compares to them...

example #3....
(george's note: this thread was entitled "confield =
sloppy mess?
", and ophecks replied):

No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no non on on onono
noono nononononohnononnononononononono
NOONONONONONONONONON
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
I felt the same way for a month or two... and now I
think it's one of the best albums EVER. So stick with it, or
I'll kick your ass.

and yet another example :-)...
Time is of the essence, man... give them TIME! I hated
Confield for a month
, but now I'm convinced it's the

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHH!!
I hate it when the mb cuts off my messages!! Why does it do

hey, for a week ago i thought about making an avatar out of
that episode (The Dealership) you know, that part where the
others have eaten all twix bars which George lined up..
the part where he goes insane, he looks up and you see a
turning camerashot from above..

i'll try it some time .. george is the man!!!

strange thing about that episode though.. all the time
george is looking for food, he's damn hungry (he would do
everything for a donut or a twix) and then all of a sudden
he has plenty of twix-bars to make a line-up with.. why
didn't he eat them himself i wonder..?
(yea to take revenge on sal, mal or whatever his name was..
(short name))

the end is also hilarious when kramer and the other dude run
out of gas.. just for about 20 sec. they're having fun
("WHOOOOOHOOOOOOWWW WHOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOWWWWW") haha and
then kramer splits..

ow damn.. this is a confield-thread...
eh.. yeah.. and i like it, and eh.. especially pen expers
and eh.. cfern
..ow and err.. ow yes eidetic casein, thank you hello i like
it confield very much, very nice, yes please :D

yes indeed... that is the biggest joke of the entire
episode! Even though he is sooo hungry... he still thinks
it's more important to prove that he's right ;-) Gotta love
george.

I must admit i also wondered how he suddenly got the money
to buy all those twixbars. Maybe he borrowed some more from
jerry, who knows :-)

>the end is also hilarious when kramer
>and the other dude run out of gas..

Yeah... the Kramer-story in that episode is also really
great!

Kramer: "You know, oftentimes, Jerry - he lend me his car
and I find myself in a situation where the car is almost out
of gas. But, for a variety of reasons, I don't want to be
the one responsible for purchasing costly gasoline.
"

Carsalesman: "So, you want to know how far you can drive
your friend's car for free?
"

Kramer: (highpitched voice) "Well, I make it up to him in
other ways!
"

hm... i wish i could contribute something to the
confieldishness of this thread... but i haven't heard
anything from the album yet... Uhm... well... i don't really
like the artwork for his one? ;-)

hahaa my man, i've got all 180 episodes on my hard drive,
from 'Good News Bad News' till 'The Final Episode [2/2]' , i
can just open a part of an episode with my 'Paint Shop'.. it
cuts the movie in little parts (like very fast taken

did the same with that winking Kramer ;) got it in 12 kb, i

Maybe the avatars should have a little tiny button beneath
