actually I think this is a cool idea, because it will finally allow "caption contests", which are popular on a lot of m.boards. someone will post a "funny" picture, and the rest of us try to come up with the best caption for it |

"re: the ban-button. i disagree" why? a person hasent been banned in a while but... when a person DOES (get banned), in the end are you the person deciding if he/she is going to stay or not... or can a moderator just ban someone in a heated arguement and thats that, not hearing that someones point of view? basically I say this because, I would be more then willing to donate more then that (with all the time I spend on here), but would be giving second thoughts about donating a fair amount and then being banned. Not that I do things that would get me into that position..... *uncomfortable silence* Are you going to have separate forums ever. Like one music news and discussion or a musicians forum? I think its cool that its all one thing.. I think its awesome, but just thought I would ask |

mickey: thanks for your opinions. that's true, i'm the one who decides whether someone should be banned or not. but the option HAS to be available for the mods to get instant rids of trolls. but I can unban someone if needed. i have discussed this issue with the Mods - they are not really allowed to threat people. as for separate boards; it will remain as it is now. |

Anus...just a little background re: donations as I don't think you were active at the time ... (also for anyone else who wasn't ware of the situation...).. We basically got too popular for our old host...the site & mb were eating up a ton of bandwidth (60 gbs a month...) & it had to close down for a while we considered our options... The only way to keep it open was to move the site to a new server...we got a good deal on it but it does cost a good amount of money each & every month... So that's what your approx 50p a month donation goes toward... BTW...as phobiazero says above; I'm happy to passthru any donations if you are in the UK & haven't got access to Paypal... E me at for my address etc... |

Hope you don't allow people to post "distasteful" images- I come here from work a lot of the time and I've already had to turn avatars off to censor the MB. I hope I won't have to stop coming because people post porn etc. |
