"seems like they seldom do, huh?

:/"

Like I said though, I assume it wasn't a nasty jibe at
womankind in general...

i know what you mean about communication. it's kinda funny
that (gf/bf's) have to have discussions on communication
every few weeks, because it's easy to fall into old patterns
and let things slide. thats why it's SO HARD.

i am an extrovert, does that mean i'm a good
communicator....NO....i thought so but my bf tells me that i
gloss over things so as not to deal with issues. and i admit
it's true. it's that kind of HONESTY that helps someone grow
and learn and make relationships (all kinds) better. i have
to thank him for that! =0)

echo.....you're too funny. =0) i just want all the GUYS here
to realize the other gender's perspectives. it's important
because so many here think the wrong thing, and that kind of
thinking will keep them dateless and complaining about
girls....when it's really THEIR problem, not the girls.

I was replying to someone's comment, "and she probably
doesn't have a valid reason"

Been there myself several times, so I was just agreeing with
him. it wasn't an insult to any women at all, at least I
hadn't intended it to seem that way if it did

girls can be evil bitches
guys can be evil bastards

its more a human trait then a gender trait.

i'm sorry, i guess i didn't specify. i was in a hurry. i
know why she broke up with me, it's my fault. at least in
her eyes. it's really fucked up. i was about to break up
with her anyways, because lately we fight too much, get
offended really easily, and it just wasn't making me happy
any more.

thanks for your concern. i've actually been thinking about
this for a while. there's this other girl in one of my
classes i like alot, i think i'm going to start working on a
mix tape for her tonight i think. in class i had my head
phones and i let her listen to vsnares-dance like you're
selling nails. and she dug it. which is a good sign.

i just want to say that this wasn't out of no where, she
gave me the reasons. and i do still want to be friends (this
is how it started anyways). i don't think you guys were very
fair to her, but it's probably my fault anyways.

When I first met my wife, before I even started dating her,
I gave her my favorite mix tape that I had lying in my car.

I asked her about it later and she said she loved it! I
thought that was A-OK.

After we had been married for about 5 years I found out she
was really just kidding and didn't like it much at all. It's
just a big joke between us now but secretly I wonder if she
really was just after the green card ... :^)

So the moral of the story is "If you want to give the
Creator a good laugh tell It your future."

you didn't tell us much of the story, but everyone backed
you up anyway.

Seems you sorted things out though, good luck with the new
girl, hope you're still friends with the old moonlight

Just do what I do... never make an attempt to be with the
opposite sex, never develop crushes, and breakups will be
few, far between, and easy.

not to be callus but if you've only known her 9 months and
she lived 2000 miles away... you are probably better off.

"gloss over things"
You're one of those?DIE BITCH DIE! Just Kidding ;) My
current gf does that. Funny you should mention bi-weekly
discussions on communication cos that's exactly what
I've just been doing!!! Plus she's greek so you can image
all the fucking cultural differences we get. Jeez...

But still, even when your dealing with that, you still go
through breakups with your friends....

Loss is a part of life.

I had a four year friendship, with my best friend. We used
to do everything and have some real fun times. We even
collaberated and were trying to push the music we made.... I
went on vacation.. (the whole summer) and came back.. and my
friend changed so much.. I hardly knew who he was anymore
(Although this is the over simplified version of what
happend). My friend lost his motivation... became rude and
unpleasant.. it was really shocking... but...
thats life.

Words were exchanged... I made a make shift contract that
basically said all the tunes we copyrighted together.. were
seperate (what I made is mine, what he made is his) I got my
equiment back... and that was that. Kinda sad that a
friendship ended like that.

Makes me very leary when I am starting new friendships..

thats life though... its all about dealing with loss, and
overcoming it... learning from it... and trying to be a good
hearted person...

once again, as a general rule: don't a trust a girl who
tells you she likes autechre or venetian snares on the first
listen. she's lying to you.

Any loss is hard to deal with... its what you learn from it,
and finding a positive way to cope thats important.

I am full of cheese tonight baby! oooo yaa!

I hope no one's actually buying into LeCoeur's feminist
propaganda! Women are conceited and shallow and want
nothing more than to eat your heart raw. I used to be a
good old fashioned lover boy until I was trampled to death
by my Venus in furs. If you want a guide on how women
should be treated, watch a Nelly video or read the old
testament - That's the real stuff before God softened up and
started emphasizing all this man-woman equality garbage..
Since I changed my ways I've literally had flocks of women.
If there's a girl I like I don't pass by and say something
hokey like "Are those shoulder blades or wing stubs?", I
walk right up and punch her in the ear as hard as I can --
They fucking love that! I challenge anyone here that's Man
enough to try some of my suggestions. Your luck will change
overnight, I guarantee it.. As for LeCoeur, shave your
armpits and keep your opinions and petty convictions to
yourself.

being safe does not a life make......it makes you a prisoner
of life cos you're trying to control your emotions.

you have to take the UPS and DOWNS.....the good and
bad.....the richer the poorer =0).....otherwise you're just
moving through life like a ghost......sounds intensely sad
and lonely!

Long Distance relationships are usually no good. Sure,
those 9 months you probably enjoyed, but there'll be someone
else. I'm sure you'll enjoy a more closer relationship.

I'll say this uber simply, if you haven't had sex up till
now, even with a girlfriend, why the hell would you even
consider it with a causual girl you barely know?

If your looking for some conquest, well, whatever, but if
you aren't taxing ass now with a person you really care
about, why start with someone who barely knows your name?

You only live once. I think you should do something with
her beforehand and then make the decision. Who knows it
might lead to a relationship, but then again it just sounds
like the run-of-the-mill slut.

I may be wrong....I may be right, but like you said an
oppurtunity likes this might not come along again.

echo is giving you some good advice!

just ask yourself why you're asking for advice....i think
because you already know the answer, but need to be
reassured. so consider this reassurment. =0)

you first time should be with someone who cares about you
and vice versa....imagine if you were so nervous you
couldn't 'get.....' that wouldn't matter to someone who
cared about you, but someone who doesn't.....YIPES....i'd be
careful!!!
