ive never really liked basscadet

and i must say, i dont really like most of the tracks on
chiastic slide...maybe i just wasnt in the mood the last
time i listened to it.. but it really got on my nerves after
a while.. rather than just got boring..which is what usually
happened

I don't get all the hate for Dael, it's class. Still need to
get another Ae release. Going to have to be Confield at this
rate.

sim gishel

downright annoying beat and it doesn't go anywhere. when i
try really hard i can make out a melody but then i might be
making it up myself

other than that, i never understood the basscadet hype...
the single version is better but more boring

i don't think those are dogs... it sounds more like
distorted breathing to me... like a robot having an asthma
attack or something

dael is excellent, come on!

hub off chiastic slide i dont care for much, and melve off
lp5 (it's like 1m30s or something).

apart from that, all ae material is top stuff.

most of them.
i find most autechre just plain unlistenable.
don't get me wrong. i think most of their tracks are really
cool and/or amazing, but generally they are too grating and
unpleasant for me to listen to for extended periods of time.

their shit is pointless, and i love them. but seriously
though, if i can't instantly put one of their songs in my
head w/o listening to it, or i can't remember it by its song
title, then fuck it. that's a bad song.

I don't see how Incuabula and Amber are unlistenable. Those
2 albums are very straightforward. Even Tri-Repetae++ is,
but not to the degree of those 2.

I dunno, their first 2 albums just have the same approach as
a lot of early/mid 90's IDM.

ACROYEAR... as in-yer-face as it may be, its TOO fucking
repetitive even for my standards!

Warpmart gave me part 2 (side C and D) of Confield for free
on vinyl. I hated it, too weak, so I gave it away. I also
got LP5 on vinyl from them for free and I like it but it
does my head in after a short while. I just don't go for AE
I guess.
