Yeah, have you heard the Brownout LP? I think some things on there are better than Autechre. Don't get me wrong though, I love Autechre. There's something about their sound [Phoenecia] that grabs me. I don't know what it is really. Their earlier stuff is pretty cool too. The Jam On It remix they did is really cool. It's off of some unreleased CD-R they put out in 1999. |

JPace is a fucking fantastic track. I love the pseudo vibraphone melody they have floating about throughout the track. I love that entire album though. And yeah, I would consider them an American Autechre. Oh yeah... I love the beat on Melfad too. =D |

just finished Sonic youth - daydream nation. I bought this expecting it to be so much better, it was supposedly the best sy cd but its not even all that great, I find it hard to listen to the whole thing all at once, seems way too long and the songs arent very different. |
