Great feature - glad to see it on this already great board! One question: If this board is already eating up 60GB/month in bandwidth, won't posting of images increase that exponetially? I know you're on a dedicated server Phob, but even dedicated ones have bandwidth limits (usually in the 100-300GB range). I wait with bated breath for the day smilies make their way to xltronic :) |

Bandwidth is not a problem. The limit is even higher than the ones mentioned by you. As for smileys... who knows? If you ask me now - I'd say "NO". :) |

That's the problem I'm dealing with now Tune - my board's attached files directory is showing 130MB+ right now, and I am debating whether to empty it (thus losing all the pics in older threads), or keeping it. It's a hard call if you want the board to act as a repository of knowledge (although most of that would not be images). |
