it sucks when you find a week old sandwhich in one of those
pockets though! :)

"It's what's inside that matters" as they say. Ok, it's not
entirely internal but in the end that's what's more
important. Unfortunately such train of thought is
old-fashion nowadays or at least in my experience...

I know this guy that spiked his hair up with gel in that
trendy style that's popular now, and it got him girls
instantly, whereas before, he was ignored. Most girls just
care about image.

and of course we males get labelled as the insencitive
brutes. Jeez that pisses me off. I'd be interested to know
(totally unfeasible of course) how men compare, in terms of
their feelings, to women.

:-(

That's so sad...

Baaah... but i wouldn't want such a shallow girl anyway!
It'd be nice for 5 seconds, than she'd probably start to
annoy me... and before you know it we'd be in a big fight
about what things are important and which things are
superficial and meaningless

well. Im an electronicer fan and I like to wear pants, and
shirts sometimes. These shirts sometimes tend to bear
beer/reson/drool stains as well. I also tend to wear shoes.
And hats. Sometimes.

i guess men and women have the same feelings only in
different ways or proportions if that makes any sense.

rap started off as a device for the communication of
political ideas (as far as I know). I doubt there's much of
that left today whereas if you exclude the odd shitty dance
track electronic music has remained inovative and intricate.
Just my 5euros.

rap started off as mic control in a party situation.

yes absolutely... a nice exterior comes in handy to make a
good first impression maybe. But after that i think
personallity is all that counts.

If i thought someone was truly a wonderful person... i
honestly would not care what she looked like at all. It's
irrelevant :-/

dunno - re: some of "those" girls, i don't know how much is
intentional (as such), seems more like an after effect of
the element they are in. its kind of sad in a way, b/c they
are such slaves to fashion? and its amazing, fashion will
always change - all about the euro's at the end of the day.

Responsible for millions of teenagers all over the world
feeling insecure and unhappy about themselves... it's a sad
sad planet :-/

It all about fear and contempt to quote "Jewel in the
Crown". But it IS. Everything in our fucked up society boils
down to fear.

good times :)

Tony: fear? mmm.. i guess - the flip side of fear must be
indifference/confidence no?

oh...
well, there is this one scene in it where his teacher tries
to explain that everything in life can be categorised in two
categories... either "fear" or "love"

But then when donnie gets asked to categorize a certain
situation from a card into one of those categories on the
chart, he gives a brilliant speech about how life is not so
simple and you can't just put everything into two little
boxes.

And his teacher just tries to persuade him to please not
cause any trouble and just do the assignment, and he tries
to convince her the assignment is stupid.

And in the end he tells her to violently insert the
life-chart into her rectum
...

hehe... hm... yeah, but you had to see it i guess. It was a
great scene, i loved it. It works alot better than my
description makes it sound, i promise! :-p

offline TonyFish from the realm of our dreams on 2002-11-11 18:29 [#00437683]

Ok so not everything can be categorized thusly but the
majority probably can. One could even perceive fear as a
component of love. I can't really come up with an adequate
description of love but I believe that it encompasses all
emotions...

if you want to know what love is - just read some Barbara
Cartland novels

hm.... well i don't necessarily agree with donnie (i was
hoping it'd just be a funny remark :-p). I think you are
probably right that alot of things can be traced back to
fear.

Us people are so afraid to do anything... fear can paralyse
you and make your life alot less fun :-s

But i also don't think you should over-simplify the problem.
Life is incredible complex... and you can't see everything
in just black or white. In theory i agree with you, but in
reality it doesn't help me at all when i am facing a
problem, and all i can think is: "it's just fear"...

If that made any sense

"But i also don't think you should over-simplify the
problem."
Yup it made perfect sense.
Yes, when I say that all things boil down to fear I agree
that many factors are being disgarded and whatever we are
taking into consideration is grossly oversimplified.

alright, then we are in agreement sir! :-)

And in some ways it is good to realise so many of life's
problems stem from fear... that means the solution is often
just to be couragious (most of the times that seems like a
not-so-pleasant-solution though ;-))

musik dress like (err... what's the word?) hip-hop-ers. :/
