Ozric's - Kick Muck is one of the best tripping tracks
ever.
*remembers wasted youth*

I have an Eat Static CD. It sounds quite boring to me these
days. Alot of vocoded drums on it. I quess it's too
trancey.

Oh yeah, there is a track I like, but not on that CD. It was
an ambient remix on the cover of Future Music (22), way back
in 95(?)

I had the misfortune of living with a 60s throwback hippy
for a while and other than Hawkwind, it was Ozrics, Ozrics,
Ozrics....trippy music (But the guy had never done Acid or
anything stronger than hash ;( ...was too scared
apparently)...So I guess I heard TOOOO much of em...and
altho obviously very talented musicians, they did have a
tendancy to release the same shit time & time again...

The Eat Static side project was ok(ish) but very amateur
compared to people like AFX, Ae, Boc, whoever....kinda made
me cringe a lot...

A bad advert for drugs, if you ask me...

(fuck, sorry if I sound like a right snob here....it's just
the mention of Ozrics has brought back all my memories of
living with that guy & they're not fond ones....)...

I'm not very familiar with Eat Static but I liked what I
heard of them. You know the game conquest earth? It had some
tracks from the science of the gods album in it including
Hybrid and two other tracks. Nice.

BTW, the game sucked :) The other tracks were from their '95
album Abduction.
My all time favorit track is from that album, Gulf Breeze.
Very nicely built dance oriented techno.

Resident Evil: I see you are having Crash And Burn as user
pic. I love that album. Especially Mondo A Go Go, that's a
funny track.

Glad you noticed =D

Though I must admit I don't have any Eat Static albums! I
was checking out different artist's on CDNow when I came
across Eat Static. I enjoyed most of it (I'll be getting
Crash and Burn very soon). The front cover took my eye!

Yeah. They said about Mondo A Go Go, that it could be the
next Austin Powers soundtrack :)

If you have it, check out Science Of Gods and Implants too.
Great albums.

Do you like the Ozrics, Ressy? Their stuff's pretty hard to
find here in Australia I've discovered...though I am
ordering one in now called Bits Between Bits/Sliding Gliding
Worlds

Love their artwork too :)
