I saw a sweet 10 piece collective from Noerway producing
really realy nice Squarepusher type jazz tunes and i heasrd
that ninja tune may be signing them but there is nothing on
ninja tune about them.
They´re called "Jagged Jazz" or something similar... any
links?

nah.. these are new and from norway and very IDM with lots
of aphex/squarepusher sounds between the live jazz
instrumentaion. I saw a video on Irish tv with the bands
heads pasted onto zoo animals racing around.

/me sees the Norway flag on the sky, and rushes to the
Nor-Mobile.

The group is called Jaga Jazzist and they've recently been
signed by Ninja Tune.

i recommend you to check out "In Livingroom Hush" (voted
best jazz-album of the year by the BBC) although it's two
years old-

they've just released "The Stix", my favourite, you've
probably seen/heard "Another Day" from the
album--must-hear.

Jaga Jazzist
Ninja Tune videoes

:D

yeah.. . jaga jazzist is brilliant.. . so is a lot of
smalltown supersound artists.. . not too mention norway in
general.. . it might interest you to know that some of the
members of jaga jazzist play in a more "IDM"y band called
Rotoscope.. . which has an album out on the best label in
the world.. . norways Jester Records.. . check them out.. .
the band.. . and the label. ..
