like i said up top. any pointers? i followed the max 60x80
rule and i only used the .gif and .jpeg and didn't try
anything above 12 KB. is there something i'm missing?
(besides friends, hahahahahahaha, so sad)

email me the image (xceque@xltronic.com) and I'll see if I
can find anything wrong with it. A number of people have had
problems like this and I'd be interested to find out the
cause of it.

with me it was the file itself had to be renamed to
.jpeg, with the jpeg added extra even though it
already was a jpeg.

after that, I haven't had any problems uploading avatars..

oh shit, I put filename between those "<" brackets in
front of the first .jpeg - the mb seems to think it was a
strange form of html..

rename the file to 'penty.jpg' and try again.

hot. i got phobiazero in on this discussion, i feel awesome
now (i'm not being sarcastic, i really do). i tried it like
you said but it didn't work. it's really not a big deal
though, i don't mind having a picture.

oooooookkkkkkkkk. xceque cleared it up for me. you see, i'm
a bit of an idiot. i thought the 60 x 80 was a max, not a
required dimension. thanks for the help kids.

If it still doesn't work at the exact size, let me know and
I'll see if I can upload the pic you sent me myself.

i got it. i added a little in to the white so it wouldn't
just be white. and i must say xceque, the use of an
attractive young lady is rather deceiving and led me to
believe that you were an attractive young lady but your info
says you are male, but that's not to say anything about the
attractive-ness. so anyway, it works.

Your avatar reminds me of Penllegaer (stinking shit hole up
the road from me)

You are correct. I am neither a lady nor attractive. At
least no-one has ever said I was (attractive, that is) but
who can say. Well I suppose other people can say, but no-one
here knows what I look like so... er... I'm waffling...

i had the same problem with the size.. it had to be exactly
80x60 in my case.. first i was fooling around with smaller
ones..

maybe you (mod's webm's) could be more clear about that,
probably by saying it just has to be 80x60, not smaller :)

just suggesting

What's with all the light sabres? I bet that's some nifty
program feature. Perhaps I'll try with psopp sometime...

I want to have a pic of Satzuki from Totoro.
