A Seinfeld movie? feckin CLASS!

Friends of mine met Seinfeld in Pisa, Italy during the
Summer. They were on holiday (vacation), strolling along,
when they spotted a marquee-type thinghy with film-set
equipment appearing into view as they walked around it. Then
they spotted a few tank shaped, well dressed, shaded
security sorts. Thinking "these guys are defo guarding a
body of some importance", they peered between 2 of the
henchmen.

Lo and behold if it wasn´t Gerry himself, apparently
viewing something on a monitor.. a recording of an advert,
perhaps. Anyway, on trying to indicate to one of the goons
that they woiuld like to just say hi, they got flat
refusals all round. Then , Eileen, being probably Elaines
biggest fan, squeezed her head between two great lummoxing
arms and said "Hi, Gerry.. love the show!"... wherein the
great Gerry said in classic Seinfeld style, with a
characteristic twist down-and-to-the-side of his head
"Why... thank you very much...".

All true.

to see jerry in real life.

hehe... if i close my eyes i can just see him say it like
that! What a funny guy :-D

Its not that I dont prefer Sienfeld over Friends, in fact I
hate the show Friends. Who is Ross? It has just become a big
stupid debate between my friends and I wanted to hear some
good opposing view points.

GEORGE: I didnt get any bread.
JERRY: Just forget it. Let it go.
GEORGE: Um, excuse me, I - I think you forgot my bread.
SOUP NAZI: Bread -- $2 extra.
GEORGE: $2? But everyone in front of me got free bread.
SOUP NAZI: You want bread?
GEORGE: Yes, please.
SOUP NAZI: $3!
GEORGE: What?
SOUP NAZI: No soup for you! (snaps fingers)
(cashier takes George's soup and gives him back his money)

*The Betrayal*
11 years earlier:

KRAMER: Oh, hey, how you doing?

JERRY: Oh, hi. I'm Jerry Seinfeld. I'm movin' in. I saw your
name on the buzzer - You must be Kessler.

KRAMER: Uh, no. Actually, it's Kramer.

JERRY: Oh.

KRAMER: Uh, you need any help, or..?

JERRY: No, thanks. But I ordered a pizza. You want some of
it?

KRAMER: Uh, no, no, no. I couldn't impose.

JERRY: Why not? We're neighbors. What's mine is yours. (And
with that, Jerry made the most fatal mistake of his life)

KRAMER: (Eyeing Jerry's empty apartment) Really?

hehe, possibly the best joke ever made in seinfeld! (in one
of the best episodes aswell). I love that to someone who
doesn't know the series it wouldn't seem funny at all... but
to anyone familiar with Kramer it's obvious how big a
mistake jerry is making ;-)

On a different note (directed at morton), these people at
rare records are really nice! I've decided to just have them
send over the records instead of me picking them up (the
postage-costs are cheaper than a trainticket :-)). I've just
placed an order for six cd's... and will buy more as soon as
they get them in stock :-D
The guy is even going to try and order the US-version of Big
Loada for me... really cool store, one of the best things i
discovered this year :-) Thanks lots!

hey glass_eater :-) Always glad to see you're still on the
pro-seinfeld side!

To be honest... early friends-episodes sometimes weren't
that bad (these days they've totally lost it though).

But nothing will ever come close to seinfeld! I love how
it's not really about anything in particular... just random
crazy things happening, and the 4 of them poring over the
excruciating minutia of every single daily event.
