just brought all these geat memories to my head.

I have many!!!
But I have a record called
Rock and Roll Fever Volume II

Which I personally scribbled on and scratched at the tender
age of 2 or 3 years old.

:)

lucky girl :D

into electonica from the beginning. i'm almost ashamed of
some of the stuff i used to listen to, now knowing what i
could have been listening to :-\ i don't really
listen to much of the stuff that would bring back any
memories anymore.

actually, on second thought. my family takes a trip down
across canada to toronto every year. my dad brother and i
drive down there, and listen to tons of music while we go.
there are a few cd's that allllways remind me of the good
times while on the trips :) :) now that i remember, i'll
have to think a minute what they are!

Third Eye Blind

every song is great and full of bittersweet memory. I
listened to that when I had my first (and only :/ ..)
girlfriend, when I actually felt a bit confident about life
and my place in society, when I actually was a bit of a
social person.. before I discovered IDM and holed up in my
little pasty white, nostalgia driven hermit world..

nice one Steph

I feel that way about Soul Asylum - let your dim light
shine

not so much for the album, as maybe for the title. That
summed up my feelings for a long time. *sigh*

Sleeper - The It Girl.

Makes me sad beacuse I was so much happier during the time I
associate with that album.

Madonna & Mirwais - Paradise (not for me)
Plaid - Rakimou
Autechre - Drane

They used these songs, when I went to the Antwerp fashion
academy's show for the first time.
They always remind me of the year I studied there.

I'm such a moody fuck that if a song reminds me of something
it's normally reminding me of something bad. I can think of
10 songs that would kill me if I heard them now. :/

Listening to stuff I played in my teens is kinda weird and
brings about feelings of melancholia. Stuff like Blood
Sugar, Therapy?, the Wildhearts, Manics etc. I get
ambivalent feelings about the past; a longing for it but
also a certain detachment.
