Smart, I'd encounterted a worm that duplicated MP3s to fill
the hard disk before, bu not these.

I'm suprised enough malicious code fits in the ID2 tags... I
would of imagined it'd need to reference a website etc. for
the rest of the code.

Still, my MP3 CD player is safe :P

id3v2 is free-format - there's no fixed length like 1d3v1.

There was already a similar problem in Winamp a few months
ago, it's too bad they didn't completely fix it back then.

Considering there are probably a lot of vulnerable players
out there, this could be new attack vector for the anti-file
sharing folks.

Neither. It's a software flaw that would allow code of any
kind to be run on your computer without your knowledge.
