''The 5o Greatest NHL Players of All Time'' by Steve Dryden
and Michael Ulmer. I must have read this book a thousand
times. Everytime I'm in the bathroom... I take it with me. I
take it on the bus. I take it on long trips. I read it in
bed.

William R. Gibson - Neuromancer

Cyberpunk story, When you read this you'll find the movie
'The Matrix' just a laugh.
One of the best SF-like books I read.

Jack Vance - Tschai
Guy trapped on a weird planet trying to make his way back
home.

Stanislaw Lem - "The futuristic congress" (this should be
the correct translation of the title)
it's the same guy that wrote 'solaris' another great
sf-novell. a little crazy maybe but 'the matrix' was at
least inspired by that book. I read all Lem after that
start.

I couldn't finish either F.W. or Ulysses, even though I
tried very hard. Another tough one was Gravity's Rainbow by
Pynchon, which I did manage to finish. But it took so long I
didn't really remember what the hell was going on. Thumbs
up!

Someone recommended to me The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. I've
only just started it, but the writing is superb.

On a lighter note, you must read The Ultimate Hitchhiker's
Guide to the Galaxy. Honestly, who mixes sarcasm, sci-fi,
and good writing? I love it.
