This week In HUMO.
It ain't big, not even one page.
But since boc don't give so much interviews, I thought I'd
translate some parts. So here it is :

"HUMO :I have been told you guys go far to collect good
samples.
MICHAEL :We have been standing on a road in the country for
hours, waiting for a motorcycle to pass us in stereo.
We also trained a gull to shriek along with the beat from
'happy cycling'.
Her sense of rythm is so good, that we asked her to come
play the drums on our next concert.
HUMO: Would you ever consider to let someone really sing on
one of your records, and, if yes, Who?
MICHAEL : Not on a Boards of Canada record, but maybe for
some other project.
HUMO : You guys have a real good reputation. Did you
get...like, for example an invitation for Madonna's
wedding?
MARCUS:It might sound funny, but,....
HUMO: You gotta be kiddin'
MARCUS:A few big names contacted us, Very flattering, but in
the end, that doesn't mean so much.
We don't want to sell out. "

(from humo 49/2002 , n° 3247)

Yeah, most of what she does IS crap, but Paradise (not for
me) is one of the most briliant songs ever made imo.
d' you know that one?

They're talking about Joni Mitchell and Liz Fraser. =o)

The interview is really short.
I translated about half of it.(there were some really
difficult words in the first part, but I'll ask my
friend, later today, and then I'll post the complete
interview again. Happy?)
