Daft Punk are okay. Even if they aren't doing much radically
different from Detroit and Chicago house from all those (2)
decades ago.

"ONE MORE TIME!!!!!!!"

"You may not be..... the right one,

This might not be, the right time"

Daft Punk is great IMO, I like their new album better then
their last one, I dug it

daft punk are very good, even if like the basemnt jaxx and
the last chemical brothers they come very close to
commercial stuff, which is not good, but for now they are very
good

Daft Punk was having an anime made for their discovery
album... they had it on the cartoon network site.

It would be really awesome if they could get it done with
and make a dvd out of it.

But I think that they stopped working on it

:*(

homework was good, discovery was great. they really managed
to tap into what i really wanted to hear. work of genius.

if you can't see through this media bullshit about
popularity, you're only losing out. the only difference is
they now have money to promote their product.

offline Anus_Presley on 2002-11-27 14:35 [#00458685]

thats why i like earthleakage

their new album was really great, i can see how you could
compair them to basement jaxx and the chemical brothers...

but daft punk was around way longer then any of them...

in the clubs, and I think they pulled off the retro 70's
disco funk thing much better then anybody else..... except
for maybe DMX Krew - We are DMX

I dont see how people here can like DMX Krew, but not like
Discovery by Daft Punk.

Another prime example of "IDM" elietism, at its finest

I like how people say... have an open mind (especially when
talking music) .....

but fact is that will never happen when your talking about
somewhat popular music to "IDM" folk

;*)

i really wanna see them ditch the robot shit, and make
something more like a 'homework 2' only better...

i'd love to get my hands on one of those robot suits tho,
just cuz it would be fun to wear :D
