Fuck no, I hate instant messaging. It's like walking around
with a "please bother me" sign whenever your computer's on.

Besides which I'm using Linux so there's no MSN client for

Incorrect. Linux has gaim. It is mainly AOL IM for
Linux, but you can use a plugin for MSN, and even ICQ and
other protocols, so you dont't have to boot that Window$.
Try it.
