Hi, anyone know of a way of saving flash? I love the
current BoC site and want to save a copy in case they take
it down...

I wish they'd include a PC/Mac playable (offline) version of
it on their next album.
Is it just me or were some tracks (gann, time apple) not
there when the new site was first launched?

Theoretically it must be possible- anything can be saved.

I was just wondering if there was some tool you could DL
online that allowed you to do it...

Don't the .swf files get saved into your browser cache
folder? I just checked mine and found quite a few.

Cheers Whale, will check tonight. Should just be a case of
copying them out of there and into a permanent directory?

you should be able to just save the whole html doc with the
swf file embedded in it aswell.

i meen you need to open the swf file in a browser to get it
to work anyway. unless youve got the flash player that comes
with flash.

Dig up the link in the html, paste it as a link into a new
html. Open the new html. Rightclick on the link, save as.

That's the thing- I tried saving the HTML and the swf bit
was just blank. I'll give it a go tonight (I was too busy
yesterday- I got dragged off to a pub quiz where I won a box
of 36 of those new snickers bars).

if you find the link to the swf, make a link from here in a
post-preview and right click and choose save target as
