Keynell 3

Wow! Im slowly getting into all the keynells...they've
been really hard trying to understand. Keynell 1 was an
instant hit with me but the others proved difficult.

Anyways Im really liking this one. Keynell 3 is like a dark
Goz Quarter. I don't know how Ae did it but they made the
tuba sound cool. Not cool as in 'yeah thats a cool sound'
but its like they made the instrument worth hearing by
itself. They made it a very powerful part of the song. I
wish they utilized this sound more...almost wish there was
an Envane 2 hehe...oh well.

I would actuall go so far as to say that tuba sound is a
defining characteristic of Autechre. its their flagship
sound.

the whole keynell releasde takes some getting used to. at
first, the tracks seem sooooo repetitive.

has anyone who has the original CD in bubblewrap (SKAM later
released it sans bubblestuff) noticed a slight pause
or glitch around 2:18 into keynell 1?

It must be bad mastering, because the vinyl doesn't do it,
but both my CDs do.
