i saw "mesto na zemle" (place on earth) today and i was pretty shocked its a pretty grotesque film-gummp looks like a fairy-tale to this one (tho i like gummo better) i really cant see what is it about this film that ppl appreciate so much, but i'll find that out (hopefully) |

about bunch of homeless ppl living in some small community-in a deserted house in the middle of the moscow it was shot in black and white and some scenes are really disgusting and as i understand the director (he was here today btw) of this film actually sold his apartement to make this movie and he was living among homeless ppl for two years but its not a film i would go see again :) |

i thought gummo had some really amazing parts. both the fighting in the kitchen scenes. but only after i saw it for the second time. always i gotta watch a movie more than once.... |

Please. Take a camera to any hick town where a bunch of poor white trash are drinking beer and chances are you'll come up with some entertaining [in a jerry springer kind of way] footage. |

you should see mesto na zemle then its supposed to be an "artsy"film, but it was pretty stupid to me gummo is stupid as well but its at least fun to watch :) |
