Does anyone have the Creative Review DVDs? I'd love to

latest video is Bjork's "Nature Is Ancient" animated video
and on one of the old one's has Plaid's ITsu video.

yeah, CR has been pretty generous with their DVDs - loads of
good shit on em...

the Plaid vid was part of compeition between WARP & CR, with
10 different videos on the DVD...very nice...

Likewise with the SPQR/CR video competiiton...

They also had the GG video months before release as
well....and need I mention Monkey Drummer (that where the
DivX of this comes from...)...

Haven't seen the latest one yet tho...think it out about
nowish, they do 2 a year...

How about subscribing to the mag?...it's not that expensive
(12 issues + 2 DVDs for like 50 quid....)...I think you get
a free copy of the last DVD as part of the sub as well....

Just checked the latest issue and it's DVD04, from 6 months
ago, that's got the Bjork/Nick Knight stuff on it...the
latest issue has got a great feature about Bjork & her
videos in it tho...

Subscribe now and you get DVD01, DVD03 & DVD04 free as
well....it's 92 quid for the US, 56 quid for UK, 75quid for
Europe...

email crcirc@centaur.co.uk to get the full low down on it...

Work get the mag for me, so I've got a huge pile of em
sitting next to me....I'm into design & it's the best one
for staying up to date & getting the odd bit of
inspiration...I look forward to every new issue as it's a
beautifully put together mag (quality printing on quality
paper as you'd expect from a "creative" mag...)...

And the people at CR are really nice...helped em set up an
interview with a famous NYC designer & they sent me a few
goodies as a thank you...

They've got a website at http://www.mad.co.uk/publication/cr/index.aspx... a bit limited,
you need to sub to get full access, but there is some info
there about subbing...

Quick update...got CR DVD05 during the week...

All sorts of stuff on there...highlights include a load of
Danial Brown pieces, loads of shynola promos & a few Funki
Porcini videos...

That's really just scratching the surface; it's
packed...I'll let you know if I find anything else of
interest on it..

Yeah... I wish there were easier ways to get access to all
these AWESOME videos. It's so elitist this world. Chris
Cunningham is so fucking great but has only remote EXCLUSIVE
showings of his videos in random countires. I've been
hopelessly trying to get an internship with him for 4
years.

The Creative Review only adresses and advertises to
companies the average Joe isn't worth there time.
Everythings so posh. As an artist I live in this snobbish
world where most artists think they are the shit. All their
art is precious and the audience has to be worthy to view
it. If I ever succeed in my goals as an artist I want my art
to be available to ALL people regardless of what they can do
for me.

Let me just say I've gotten home from a 12 hour workday that
pays $5.75 where we had back to back screenings of the Sound
Of Music so I am irritated and a bit insane and delusional.
