i agree man. Honestly the whole world is mixing together. I talk about my m8s, my flat, standing in a que.
That's all European, I don't complain. You would have to live in a hole to not be influenced by everyone else in the world.
If you are in the end refering to the spread of capitalism, and America ruling the world with it's empire of might. I don't believe you.
besides, we got you're french fries! (joke)

but you can't keep all the world's culture.
Westernization of the world has wiped out cultures that sacrificed women to Gods and ate their capture enemies.
Is that bad?

All nations/cultures have at some point along the line done some horrendously fucked up shit. We shouldn't use this against others or even attempt to make comparisons otherwise we'd never stop! We should put the past behind us and do our best to make sure such things don't occur again. Dang, I'm rambling...

i very much agree with you AP.
I don't like the idea of my country trying to police other countries. Nor do I like the spread of a lot of American companies overseas without the same laws that apply in America, applying there.
*McDonalds cutting down trees for cow raising and shit, well, that wouldn't happen here, but our laws don't apply elsewhere*
I am a capitalist, I think it improves lives, gives choices, and generally helps increase the standard of living.
The "At any cost capitalism" however, is a real fucking dangerous animal.

frrom yourr point of view, afrrican people may love theirr mud hut's. but at the same time they don't love not having money forr food, or food fullstop. so yeah capitalism can be a good thing if its accepted and not forrced on a countrry...

you like capitalism because you are probably on the winning side of it.. i dont think your attidtude would be the same if you worked in one of the factories in the third world producing your consumer goods with minimum wage and horrible working conditions..

I seen Radiohead in Glasgow promoting Kid A. I seen Radiohead again here in Ontario 9 months later promoting Amnesiac. I tell you I could write a book about the difference in people at the two concerts. I was really amazed when I thought about it after.
