you could always work-out & make yourself stronger that's what I did for my back ...I used to do tumbling(gymnastics )and I had to do strength training 'cause my back was sensitive...........

Mine tightens up for days with one wrong twitch sometimes. I hurt it at work. I have been lifting wieghts for 3 years now and I know that helped it a lot.

i've had back issues. my life has been pretty intensely spiritual for the last two or three years and as a part of that i've become much more consious of my body (my spirit). i let intuition guide my posture and the way i carry myself in general and this has lead to a natural healing. attitude has been a part of it. my attitude seems to manifest in the way i move, or in the way i hold stillness. i've started practicing t'ai chi and it has some definite benefits. can be very good for the back. i think some forms of yoga can be hard on the back, but i read somewhere about a form of yoga that helps the back.

Alexander technique is a pretty good thing. Its about good posture.
A helpful thing for me, who gets all sorts of pains from playing the violin..., was to think of being suspended by a string, from the top back of your head... Not the front part, but a bit towards the back... so your head actually ends up a bit downward facing...

I have an atrocious back/neck..but going to the physio has only made it worse..he seemed to have opened channels and now the searing pain shoots through out the body..the legs, thighs arms..which ever direction the blocked flow of energy directs the painto

Yes I have backpains from my earlier job. I feel it sometimes, although I've got a way easier job now.
Lying on your back with your legs up on a chair or a table (in a chair shape so to speak) helps. I used to do that everyday a year ago. Put on some good music and just relax.
It's the only way to let your back rest 100%. Even if you don't have back pains it's good for you. 10-20mins a day is enough.
-Dr Paco
