Its nearly 'Bonfire Night' or 'Guy Fawkes Night' here in
the UK, but apparently some countries are not allowed to
sell fireworks to the general public....is that true?

allowed to be exploded only on new years eve.

Here there have been fireworks exploding for the last three
weeks....kids messing about in the streets (who have
acquired them by some means)

I think N.Ireland aren't allowed fireworks. Prob something
to do with the IRA. What I don't understand is why bonfire
NIGHT lasts about a FORTNIGHT...gets bit annoying.

Some places hold the 'organised' events so that the general
public dont have to buy fireworks. But here in Cardiff the
city's main fireworks display was last night on Friday
night...but bonfire night isn't until Tuesday. I can
understand organisers wanting to get more people in on the
weekend, but 5 days earlier....??!?! I have fireworks, but
I'll keep them until the 5th

In the UK, Bonfire Night is on the 5th, but where I live it
started middle October. Every couple of seconds some retard
is letting them off because they just can't wait.. in fact
lots of retards. Why have tradition if you're not going to
stick to it???

Fireworks and little things like them are allowed in my (US)
state to most all ages - if you're old enough to go shopping
- year round. And it happens year round, at bizarre hours
of the night.

Yeah! Fireworks are overrated! Unless Gandalf does them.
