Is this years Turner art award just more ALSO ... All UK residents *must* Check out Comedy Lab on C4 tonight @ 11:40..... "Shoreditch Tw*t" is based on the 333Club fanzine , and is a satirical take on trendy youth culture in London... critically acclaimed & worth a look :) |

i like the glass ceiling, very pretty :o/ can't seem to find any info on what the 'porn wall' actually says. i'm sure by this time next year, a copy wil be on every fucking student wall, replacing the fractalized mona lisa smoking a joint. i hope comedy lab is better than the serealized tvgohome, that was just not funny at all, unlike the website which is hilarious . anywayz, i'll check it out. |

Most of this years stuff is actually pretty good..I love the flying camera one, with the blurred falling photos... pornwall is a transcript of a porn video...looks a lot better than it sounds...she really very funny; I don't think she's making any great statements just providing a new (& pretty unique) view.. those porn shop strips of colour are just so PrivateShop it's untrue... and the more scientific one is nice to see...art/science are closer than ever & his pieces make that more than apparent... Unsure about the glass ceiling thing really...seems very oldfashioned for the Turner... hehe...jand adds to the endless bollocks spoken about the turner every year since the UK public discovered Modern Art (i.e. when the Tate bought the infamous tyres..or the scandal of the pile of bricks...)... |
