There is a new Nirvana album coming out next month, Greatest Hists i think it is, and has some other stuff on it, unreleased maybe? Havent heard too much for some reason, anyone know? |

oh? Well that might make it interesting after all. I did read an interview where dave grohl was very excited about a pre-butch vig mix of "smells like teen spirit"... but i thought stuff like that would end up on the rarities-collection. |

new nirvana album; if you want all the hits it's not like they are spread out on a buncha albums. half of it is gonna be half of nevermind anyways. shit, just buy all the fuckin' albums, it's not like the songs that weren't hits/singles were any worse than those that were on the radio or even had a video. they all rock! and the video for the new song is like 90% footage from their homevideo live tonight sold out, nothing new for real nirvana fans. krist novoselic, curt kirkwood and bud gaugh. |

don't really care about the album...nothing new so isn't that exciitng... But Kurts Journals are released at the beginning of Nov as well; from what I've read so far, this should be an great insight into Kurts mind & situation...The Observer & Newsweek have already serialised a number of pages and they SOOOOO moving... In 2004 a box set wil be released with a compilation of songs from the 209 tapes, which have been recorded with some unfinished and some finished, but not released songs. This could be an interesting object. |

i own nevermind and in utero and i've probably listened to nevermind under 10 times and in utero under 5 times. on the other hand, i've had unplugged since it came out and probably listened to that about 20 times. i guess i missed the big deal about nirvana. |
