I like them. Live is their best album. Killer rock madness.
I'm less of a fan of their studio albums and I think they're
just a better live band.

once every thousand years
this metal sphere
ten times the size of jupiter
floats just a few yards from earth
you climb on your roof
and take a swipe at it
with a single feather
hit it once every thousand years
until you've worn it down
to the size of a pea
yeah i'd say that's a long time
but it's only half a blink
in the place you're gonna be...

from "randy described eternity"... i just love BTS's Perfect
From Now On-album! Very different from their other stuff...
much more slow, dramatic, psychedelic. Only 8 songs on that
album, most of them quite long :-)

I love it... LOVE it! I also have nothing wrong with love,
but perfect from now on is much better in my opinion.
Altough if you like nothing wrong + keep it like a secret
you might disagree.

I do like the song that has the line: and life goes on, and
on, and on, and on... from nothing wrong with love...
hehe... i guess i just like their loooooooong songs :-)

i so want perfect from now on badly. but they were out of
it at the store i went to. i heard a song off it and its
way better than their shorter songs which i still like a
lot. i have:

-Theres nothing wrong with love
-Keep it like a secret(best of the three)
-Ancient melodies of the future

i like all 3 a lot, anyone heard the new Doug Martsch album?

surrounded, i think that song you were talking about, " on
and on and on..." is from keep it like a secret if im not
mistaken. Tracks 9/10 are the best on keep it like a secret.

Okay, so i put on "there's nothing wrong with love" now...
it's the last song called "stab"

"i wrote a song, it was slow and long.
I wrote the words and the music's wrong.
But life goes on & on & on & on & on & on & on & on..."

I really like his lyrics :-)
And this song could've been on "perfect from now on"...
great song. I think i'll listen to this entire album now.

Do you have any idea what the image on the cover is though?

not a fan at all.

A band in the same genre, maybe even same label, is "Death
Cab For Cutie" their CD "Something about Airplanes" is just
wonderful. My do I like them.

Built just, iono, I just don't dig them at all.

damn i forgot what a fun album this is :-D (tnwwl).

I had to smile (as always) when i heard Doug say
"once..."... and then the song begins with "...when i was a
little someone pointed out to me."

hehe (big dipper).

Truly a great album. I still need to get both Keep it like a
secret and Ancient Melodies.... will do.... someday.

And a cloud eh? Hm... how dissapointing. I was hoping it
would be something cool, since they kinda hid it like that.

never heard of them.

But if they really are so alike it seems strange that you
like this "deathcab for cutie" band and at the same time
dislike built to spill?

i dont really like death cab for cutie much, i like bts way
better, and death cab is still on an indie label unlike bts.
both kilas and ancient melodies are great.
