like record a movie your watching throught the computer? as
if you were down loading a video? wouldn't it be saved

yes. the robocop software. all you need to do is die then
someone will turn you into a robocop. then you can capture
whatever you see for later playback.

Are you thinking of "robocopy" that shite replication
software that has wasted hours of my time fixing client's
servers?

If you have incredibly fast fingers & a meaty processor try
printscreening & alt tabbing and pasting into a graphics
package then alt tabbing back, 30fps ;)

Seriously though, the only way I know is get a graphics card
with tv out and plug the tv out into a vcr as well as tv.
You could also try some software like "spector", but that'd
only be 10fps & b&W...

theres a program called streambox ripper i think that will
do it.. too busy to get a link right now.
