When somebody sends you a photo or picture as a file attachment, you click on Download File and it opens in a new window with the photo, right? Then you right-click and choose Save As..and it only gives you the option of saving it as a .bmp! Anyone know how to change it to JPEG or GIF? |

when you go to name the file as you're saving it, just type in "filename.jpg" or whatever. if that doesn't work, save it as a .bmp, then use your favorite image editing software and save the .bmp as a .jpg or .gif file. |

right click on the attachment in hotmail and save target as.. dont right click on the pic and try to save it from the email. are you running windows 2000 professional? |
